Meoto Iwa is a pair of sacred rocks located in Ise, Japan. The larger rock represents the male deity and the smaller rock represents the female deity. The rocks are connected by a thick rope made of rice straw, which is replaced every year in a special ceremony. Visitors can observe the rocks from a distance on the beach or take a boat tour to get a closer look. There is no admission fee to visit Meoto Iwa.

As for nearby attractions, one of the most famous is the Ise Grand Shrine, which is considered the most important Shinto shrine in Japan. It is located about 20 minutes away by car and is open from 5am to 6pm daily. Another popular spot is the Okage Yokocho, a street lined with traditional shops and restaurants that gives visitors a glimpse into Japan's past. It is open from 9am to 5pm daily.
